National Garden Blogger Meetup

If you missed last year's Spring Fling in Austin, Texas you're in luck because we're having another national garden blogger meetup this spring in Chicago and you're invited! We'll be touring gardens in Chicago, IL, taking photos, twittering and blogging about bloggers who blog about gardening. We'll also be scheduling time for discussions on garden blogging; how to attract visitors, how to design your garden blog, photography and anything else we can think of associated with garden blogging.

We'll be announcing the hotel we got a group rate from in a day or so. You'll have to pay for your own lodging and meals but the events we have lined up so far are free and open to everyone no matter your level of expertise in garden blogging, popularity or income level. We're planning three whole days of all kinds of goodness associated with gardening and hope you can attend.

We currently have Proven Winners and Chicagoland Gardening magazine signed up as sponsors and we're looking for more forward thinking companies and organizations who would like to sponsor this event and help us make it a memorable one. Please contact us if sponsorship is something that interests you or pass on our group blog to anyone who you know in the gardening field who would be interested.

For more information visit http://chicagogardeners.blogspot.com and check back regularly for updates, additional events (depending on participation) and news on Chicago Spring Fling.

If you read the two previous posts here about using Google Friend Connect on your garden blog for threaded comments visit our group blog so you can see it in action.

  1. I'm going to try to get to this, now that I have a passport and all that. I'm going to see if I can' convince Chicago tourism to sponsor me in part. It's worth a try....

I hope you find this blog a useful garden blogging resource. Sometimes I may reply to comments with my MrBrownThumb account or I may reply with my Garden Bloggers account. Hope this isn't confusing. If you're looking for gardening information check out "Google For Gardeners"
